Travel items and a map in warm natural light representing auction travel package voting

You Pick the Trips

Here’s something we’ve never done before.

The biggest items at this year’s Project Nic Benefit Auction are the travel packages — and we’re letting you choose them.

Right now, through Sunday, August 23rd, you have two votes to cast. We want to know which destinations your community would actually bid on. The trips that win the vote are the ones that make it into the auction on November 8.

Vote One: The Headline Trip

Last year, Maui was the runaway favorite — beaches, the Haleakalā sunrise, the road to Hāna. It went home with a bidder who wanted it more than anything else in the room.

This year, we’re asking: does Maui come back — or does an Alaska cruise take the top spot? Glaciers, whales, and mountains that don’t quit. Two incredible options. One headline trip.

Vote Two: The Weekend Getaway

For something a little closer to home, we’re choosing between two very different escapes.

Ancient Lore Village in Knoxville, Tennessee — storybook hillside cottages tucked into the Smokies, with axe throwing, archery, and chef-crafted dinners waiting for you. Or The Angel at Rose Hall in Eureka Springs, Arkansas — a AAA Four-Diamond Victorian Christian bed and breakfast with a gourmet breakfast, a jacuzzi suite, and just 3.5 hours from home.

Both are remarkable. Only one makes the auction.

Voting closes at midnight on Sunday, August 23rd. After that, we’ll lock in the lineup and start building what promises to be the most exciting auction we’ve ever put together.

Every dollar bid on these trips goes directly to the more than 330 children in our shelters across five countries. So vote for the trip you’d want — and then plan to bid on it in November.

November 8 is coming. Help us make it unforgettable.
