Sometimes the most powerful thing we can share is a simple message from the people who stand beside the children every day. This week’s update comes from one of our shelter teams — names and locations protected for safety — who sent us this note of gratitude and hope:

“Dear Project Nic Community,
We want you to know how much your support means to us. Every gift you send becomes something practical and life-giving here — food on plates, uniforms for school, medicine when a child is sick, and hope in the eyes of children who have seen too much hardship for their age.

This month, we were able to welcome two new children who needed safety and stability. Because of you, they arrived to warm beds, clean clothes, and people ready to care for them. One child said, ‘This is the first time I’ve felt safe in a long time.’

We see the impact of your generosity every day. Thank you for choosing to care for children you may never meet. Your love reaches us across oceans and changes lives.”
